L7 Analysis
What is it?
The L7 Analysis app is used to create, manage, and monitor pipelines and their associated tasks. In L7|ESP, a task is a shell script that can run on available compute resources (e.g., cluster, cloud, or directly in L7|ESP), and a pipeline is an ordered collection of tasks, which can be run in parallel or one after another.
How do life sciences teams use it?
Teams use the L7 Analysis app to create a variety of automated tasks, such as runsheet generation and instrument integrations. Personnel can monitor pipelines initiated throughout the platform (i.e., L7 LIMS, L7 MES, and L7 Notebooks) to see which are running, completed, or failed. Upon executing a pipeline, several files are generated including job_script, stdout, stderr, and reports.
