How-to: Add Entity Location Search Report

Issue:

How can users add a recently viewed report offered through the L7 University Training site, “Reports: Entity Location Search”?

Solution:

The custom queries and report files are in the attached files for download

  1. Paste the custom queries (location_search_by_tag.yaml and location_search_by_name.yaml) in the ~/data/queries directory (or content/queries dir in the mounted volume)

  2. Run make install

  3. Import the Report (e.g. esp import report <path-to-report>/entity_location_report.yaml )

  4. You can then find the report in your Dashboard app, Reports tab

  5. The report name Entity Location Search can be found in the List view or under Locations in the Group view
