| IMPORTANT: L7's best-practice recommendation is to avoid putting PHI or PII into L7|ESP and to only input de-identified data and non-PHI/PII identifiers into the system. In the event that PHI/PII must be captured by an L7|ESP implementation, it should be sequestered to objects provisioned specifically for that purpose and the objects should be associated with a workgroup to ensure that only authorized users may access the data. |
