End of Life (EOL) Policy
L7 Informatics maintains a defined End-of-Life (EOL) policy so you can plan upgrades and keep your environment on a supported version. Each L7|ESP release is supported for a set period, after which it reaches End of Life and no longer receives updates of any kind, including security patches. EOL dates are established when each new major version is released and are published in advance, and L7 provides at least 12 months' written notice before a version reaches End of Life. Once a version is End of Life, vulnerabilities discovered in it are not assessed or remediated, so we recommend upgrading to a supported version before your current version's EOL date.
The table below lists each version's support status and End-of-Life date. Dates marked (estimated) are projected and subject to change until the release ships.
